This Privacy Policy explains how Naji Studios handles personal data when you use our website and our mobile apps, including Medieval Life - Life Simulator and any future Naji Studios apps (together, the “Service”).

2. What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

Advertising in our apps

Our apps may display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location, device information, and information about your interactions with advertisements.

Personalised advertising: where required by law, personalised advertising is only used with your consent. You may withdraw or change your consent through the privacy options made available in the app or on your device.
Non-personalised or limited advertising: if personalised advertising is not permitted, Google may still process limited information for purposes such as delivering advertisements, frequency capping, fraud prevention, security, and measurement, where permitted by applicable law.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase in our mobile apps to understand how the apps are used and to improve the Service. Firebase Analytics may automatically collect information about app interactions, sessions, device and operating system information, app version, approximate geographic information, and identifiers associated with the app or device.

We use this information to understand how users interact with our apps, measure usage and engagement, identify areas for improvement, and improve our games and their performance.

Where consent is required by applicable law for analytics storage or related technologies, analytics data is collected on the basis of your consent. Where processing does not require consent, we may process limited analytics information based on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the Service.

Crash reporting and diagnostics

We use Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google, to detect crashes, errors, and other technical problems in our mobile apps. Crashlytics may collect diagnostic information such as crash logs, device and operating system information, app version, device identifiers, crash-related state information, and information about the circumstances in which a crash or error occurred.

We use this information to identify technical problems, investigate crashes, improve app stability, and fix bugs.

When you contact us

If you contact us, we process your email address, your name if you provide it, and the contents of your message so that we can respond to your request. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing support and communicating with users, or on the performance of a contract where your request relates directly to the Service.

Our website

The Naji Studios website does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies, or other tracking technologies. Fonts, icons, and other website assets are hosted with the website rather than loaded from third-party services.

Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. As part of providing and securing the website, Netlify may process standard technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, and request or server log information. This processing is necessary for the operation, security, and delivery of the website.

3. Who receives your data

We do not sell your personal data. Personal data may be processed by service providers that help us operate the Service, including:

Google Ireland Limited and its affiliates: Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, Google Play Services, and related Google services. Google Privacy Policy

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers operate internationally, which means personal data may be processed outside Belgium or the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

Where required, these transfers are protected using recognised legal safeguards such as adequacy decisions, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

5. How long we keep personal data

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Support communications: generally for up to two years after your last communication, unless a longer period is necessary for legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, or security purposes.
Analytics data: retained according to the retention settings configured for our Google Analytics property and Google's applicable retention rules.
Crash and diagnostic data: retained according to the retention practices of Firebase Crashlytics and Google.
Advertising data: retained in accordance with the retention policies and settings of Google and the advertising services used by the app.
Technical and hosting logs: retained according to the operational and security requirements and retention practices of the relevant service provider.

6. Your rights

If the GDPR applies to you, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to certain processing.

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before your consent was withdrawn.

7. Complaints

If you believe that your personal data has been processed in violation of applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for children under the minimum age required to use the Service under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children in violation of applicable law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided us with personal data improperly, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Automated decision-making

Naji Studios does not make decisions about users based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect them.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, app stores, social networks, or other services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information to them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our data practices, or applicable legal requirements.
